Work with Messenger
You can use Messenger to communicate effectively and efficiently with other axiUm users. View Messages
Incoming messages are sent by axiUm/PatientAccess users or are automated notifications and reminders.
The number of unread messages in a folder displays in brackets beside the folder name and the unread message(s) display in bold. Note: Messenger displays messages for a set time. Unread messages kept beyond this do not display but still count as unread messages. If necessary, you can configure the kept messages date range. Tip: You can also select a message and or press Alt+V or click the View the Message () icon. Tip: Messages from patients or their representative display the patient’s chart number after the patient name. Send Messages
You can send messages to other axiUm users, pre-defined Messenger groups, or patients that use PatientAccess. When creating a new message, you can customize the delivery options, including whether the recipients will receive email notifications. If set, an email notification is delivered to the recipient’s email address when they receive a message in axiUm, when users reply to or forward axiUm messages, when DoctorAccess users send and reply to axiUm messages and when a messenger event occurs in axiUm. When setting the delivery options, you can control which recipients receive an email notification about the axiUm message. Note: Recipients that have set themselves to receive forwarded notifications will receive an email notification regardless of how you set the delivery options. If you send a message to an axiUm group, axiUm checks the settings for each individual group member to determine whether to send a notification. To send a message:
Tip: You can add all To, CC, and BCC recipients from the same Select Mail Recipients window.
Note: Web Patient entries display the chart number after the name to distinguish between patient records with similar names. Message Delivery Options
